At Lucyd, we didn’t just want to create another copycat version of smartglasses. We wanted to revolutionize the wearable tech industry. We learned from the mistakes of our predecessors, improved on their designs and eliminated the most glaring problems from their clunky builds.
Here are some of the features of our flagship product: the Lucyd Lens.
A smooth, “unibody” design with an inconspicuous look and feel. Previous versions of smartglasses were too overt in their appearance, inspiring a kind of nervousness in people thinking they were being secretly. Our Lens smartglasses don’t draw any undesired attention.
All mechanical wiring and circuits are located within the stems of the smartglasses. This gives makes our product both look and feel like a standard pair of glasses. Addressing these mainstream issues has been a top priority for us.
The frames of our smartglasses can be made with prescription lenses, giving them a practical use case. 75% of the population needs some form of corrective eyewear.
Stereoscopic LCD microdisplays built into the lens itself — complete with an ultra long-lasting battery life, HD capability and massive depth capacity.
Bluetooth capability — tether your smartphone to take advantage of your favorite applications with Lucyd’s AR overlay
Bone-conducting speaker system reduces noise pollution while giving the user a pleasant and clear auditory experience. Integrated microphone for voice-recognition and communication
Connect with bluetooth speakers and keyboards for additional layers of potential communication
Front-facing camera to snap photos or videos hands-free — no more fumbling with your phone an missing that perfect shot. No need to strap a GoPro to your head, either.
Integrated eye-tracking, finger tracking and voice control — all designed to keep the Lens experience as hands-free as possible.
High resolution and a massive 120 degrees display for Artificial Reality graphics and overlay — more than doubling the current benchmark of only 40–50 degrees. This has been another key issue with the limitations of AR, but Lucyd’s tech blows this out of the water.
